Others You Can Only Love!

What Does This Site Do?

This site helps you learn ways to use everyday experiences to increase your faith and spirit in any deity or person you choose.  Experience has shown that persons who develop these traits live happier, healthier, longer richer lives.  It is merely a way to adjust your attitude and become a more positive person.  This site can be used by persons with any desire to improve their life.  You do not have to believe in anything you don't choose.  Simplicity is the spirit some choose to lead them to belief in themselves.  This can be self defeating as it merely increases their ego.  Humility and honesty have proven to be better ideals to acquire.  Many people choose the God of their personal understanding as a power greater than themselves.

How Does It Work?

Inside this site you will find several readings from several referenced sources to assist you in changing yourself, others you can only love.  The twelve steps developed by Alcoholics Anonymous are referenced, as well as other programs which have adapted these steps to other self help programs.  Reference is also made to writings of spiritual authors, especially those who do not try to lead us to their personal beliefs.  Our only guide is the higher power of our personal understanding.

What is SPIRIT?

We all have various kinds of spirituality.  We are not talking about the occult, ghosts, superstitions, etc.

We are talking about your family, your school, your favorite sports team.  Don't we have Family Spirit, School Spirit, and Team Spirit.  There are many things in which we have belief and trust.  We trust many people.  Sometimes that trust is not firm enough to have faith, complete faith as Webster's definition.  Before we begin lets take a look at another very misunderstood concept.

What is FAITH?

The "Merriam Webster Dictionary" defines faith in several ways.

1: allegiance to duty or a person : LOYALTY
2: belief and trust in God
    3: complete trust
4: a system of religious beliefs

How difficult is this?  We can understand these definitions.
Can we make use of Faith, various kinds of Faith?

Only in our experiences do we develop faith in certain things.  Sometimes our faith is dashed and appears to leave us... The simple truth is we often leave it.  Faith and spirit both require time, which equates to patience.  Older persons develop additional patience due to their many life experiences, both good and bad.  Happenings in our lives are opportunities to grow both in faith and spirit.  It is up to us and our attitude to make the best of them.
